Strategi Pendamping PKH dalam Pemanfaatan Sumber Daya Lokal untuk Mendukung Keberhasilan Program Keluarga Harapan di Kabupaten Pasaman Barat

The Family Hope Program (PKH) frequently focuses heavily on basic administrative compliance, thereby sidelining its long-term economic empowerment goals through local potential mobilization.This study aims to analyze the strategies of PKH facilitators in utilizing local resources to optimize the economic independence of Beneficiary Families (KPM) in West Pasaman Regency.A descriptive qualitative approach was employed using purposive sampling with 8 key informants, and data were analyzed through a qualitative SWOT comparison matrix.The field findings indicate that although facilitators possess strong geographical proximity and leverage through Family Development Sessions (P2K2), their roles are constrained by a high administrative workload and a lack of entrepreneurial competence. Consequently, economic guidance remains limited to normative motivation, and local commodities (such as corn) are still sold cheaply to middlemen. Based on the SWOT analysis, concrete strategic interventions are formulated: (1) reforming P2K2 materials to focus on practical processing of regional commodities (corn and palm oil); (2) optimizing integration with productive inclusion programs from the central government; and (3) fostering cross-sectoral program synchronization between the Department of Social Affairs and the Department of Cooperatives and MSMEs to resolve capital and work tool constraints for KPM business groups.
