1. Scope of the Journal

Al Khalifah: Journal of Socio-Political and Legal Studies publishes original research articles, conceptual papers, and scholarly analyses in the fields of socio-political studies, law, governance, public policy, human rights, constitutional studies, socio-legal studies, and contemporary political and legal issues.

2. Submission Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal.

  • Submissions must be written in clear and academic English.

  • Authors must ensure the manuscript aligns with the journal’s scope and follows the formatting guidelines.

  • All submissions must be made through the journal’s online submission system (OJS).

3. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should be organized as follows:

  • Title (concise and informative)

  • Author(s) Name(s) and Affiliation(s)

  • Abstract (150–250 words)

  • Keywords (3–5 keywords)

  • Introduction

  • Literature Review (if applicable)

  • Research Method

  • Results and Discussion

  • Conclusion

  • Acknowledgments (optional)

  • References

4. Formatting Guidelines

  • Manuscript length: 5,000–8,000 words (including references).

  • Font: Times New Roman, size 12.

  • Line spacing: 1.5

  • Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides.

  • Use consistent citation and referencing style (APA, Chicago, or journal-specific style as required).

5. Citation and References

  • All sources cited in the text must appear in the reference list.

  • References should primarily consist of scholarly journal articles and recent publications (preferably within the last 10 years).

  • Authors are encouraged to use reference management software.

6. Ethical Considerations

  • Authors must ensure originality and avoid plagiarism.

  • Manuscripts will be checked using plagiarism detection software.

  • Research involving human subjects must comply with ethical standards and obtain necessary approvals.

  • Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest.

7. Peer Review Process

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process. Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the editorial decision may be:
