Tantangan Pelaksanaan Work From Anywhere (WFA) bagi Aparatur Sipil Negara di Tahun 2025

The implementation of a work from anywhere (WFA) system for civil servants in 2025 is an important agenda in the process of digitizing government administration, although in practice there are still various obstacles. The background of this research stems from the government's need to increase work flexibility, performance efficiency, and technological adaptation. However, there are obstacles related to infrastructure, work culture, and monitoring systems. This study aims to analyze the main challenges of implementing WFA for ASN and identify the factors that influence its success. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies of structural officials and personnel department employees. The results of the study show that the challenges include the unpreparedness of digital infrastructure, lack of technological literacy, weak output-based performance indicators, and coordination and work culture constraints that are still oriented towards physical presence. The study concluded that the success of WFA requires system readiness, human resources, and organizational cultural change. Recommendations include improving the digital literacy of civil servants, strengthening output-based monitoring systems, providing adequate infrastructure, and developing uniform national guidelines to support the effective and sustainable implementation of WFA.
