Frontier Journal of Multidisciplinary Science (FJMS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal committed to providing unrestricted access to high-quality scientific research. To support the editorial workflow, peer-review management, production, and long-term preservation of published articles, the journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC). There is no submission fee, and authors may submit their manuscripts free of charge.

The Article Processing Charge (APC) is IDR 500,000 (or USD 35 for international authors) and is payable only after the manuscript has successfully completed the peer-review process and has been formally accepted for publication. Authors are not required to make any payment during the initial submission, editorial screening, or peer-review stages. The APC is collected solely for accepted manuscripts.

The APC covers a range of publication services, including editorial handling, double-blind peer-review administration, professional copyediting, language checking (when applicable), layout and typesetting, DOI registration, metadata preparation, online publication, website maintenance, and long-term digital archiving. These services ensure that every published article meets high academic publishing standards and remains permanently accessible to the global scholarly community.

The payment of the APC does not influence the editorial decision or guarantee publication. All manuscripts submitted to Frontier Journal of Multidisciplinary Science (FJMS) are evaluated exclusively on the basis of their originality, scientific quality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal's aims and scope. Editorial decisions are made independently through a fair, transparent, and rigorous double-blind peer-review process.

Authors who experience financial hardship or have limited research funding may submit a request for a partial or full waiver of the APC. Waiver applications are reviewed individually by the Editorial Office, and approval is based on the merits of each case. Requests for fee waivers have no effect on the peer-review process or editorial decisions, ensuring that all manuscripts are assessed fairly and without financial bias.
