All manuscripts submitted to the Frontier Journal of Multidisciplinary Science (FJMS) undergo a rigorous and transparent peer-review process to ensure the publication of high-quality, original, and scientifically sound research. The journal employs a double-blind peer-review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed throughout the review process to maintain fairness, objectivity, and academic integrity.
Upon submission, each manuscript is first evaluated by the Editorial Office to determine its compliance with the journal's author guidelines, ethical standards, formatting requirements, and relevance to the journal's aims and scope. Manuscripts that do not meet these initial requirements may be returned to the authors for revision or declined without external review.
Manuscripts that successfully pass the preliminary editorial assessment are assigned to at least two independent reviewers who possess expertise in the relevant field of study. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on its originality, scientific contribution, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, validity of results, quality of discussion, appropriateness of references, and overall significance to the advancement of multidisciplinary research.
Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editor makes one of the following editorial decisions: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, Resubmit for Review, or Reject. When revisions are requested, authors are expected to submit a revised manuscript accompanied by a detailed response explaining how each reviewer comment has been addressed. Revised manuscripts may be returned to the original reviewers for further evaluation when necessary.
The final publication decision rests solely with the Editor-in-Chief, who considers the reviewers' reports, the quality of the revisions, and the journal's editorial standards. The editorial decision is made independently and is never influenced by the authors' nationality, institutional affiliation, gender, ethnicity, or ability to pay publication fees.
The Frontier Journal of Multidisciplinary Science (FJMS) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and confidentiality throughout the review process. Editors and reviewers are required to treat all submitted manuscripts as confidential documents and to disclose any potential conflicts of interest. The journal follows internationally recognized ethical publishing principles to ensure that every published article meets the highest standards of scholarly excellence and research integrity.
