Pengelolaan Aset Barang di SMP Negeri 1 Kedungbanteng : Tantangan dan Solusi

Abstract

SMP Negeri 1 Kedungbanteng has difficulties in managing its assets. The main problems found in this study are a poorly integrated inventory system, suboptimal asset maintenance, and a lack of skilled human resources in asset management. This study aims to analyze the problems faced by SMP Negeri 1 Kedungbanteng in asset management and formulate strategic solutions. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, through purposive and snowball techniques, data was collected through interviews with the principal, staff, teachers, as well as observation and document analysis. The results of this study show four things: (1) Effective asset planning enables schools to manage their assets well, thereby increasing efficiency of use, saving costs, and resources. (2) Integrated asset management in schools means connecting various programs or systems to manage all school goods and facilities. (3) Periodic maintenance includes inspection, cleaning, lubrication, and replacement of old parts. (4) Effective asset management in schools involves monitoring and regulating the use of assets to keep them in good condition and ready for use.
